Youth Recreation Sports

Rabun County Recreation Center offers a diverse selection of sports programs designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having a blast. Whether your child is a budding athlete or simply looking to try something new, our community provides the perfect platform for them to explore their passion for sports while staying healthy and thriving.

Registration Open for Youth Basketball

Basketball Registration is open now through September 27th.

Ages: 5-6 ($65) /Ages: 7-12 ($90)

*A copy of the child's birth certificate is required to register*

Baseball

Baseball is available to the children in the Spring Season.

Softball

Softball is available to children in the Spring Season.

Soccer

Soccer recreation league opens during the Spring Season. This program is offered to children from ages 3-14 - Co-ed teams.

A week-long soccer camp is also available in the summer.

Tennis

Youth tennis is available as a league and also as a week-long camp in the summer.

Cross Country

Youth Cross Country begins in the fall season and final races at the end of September.

Football

The football recreation league starts in the fall season and ends ends of January. ages: 6-11 (prior to 8-1-23).

Volleyball

Volleyball is now being offered through the rec center. This program is open for girls from 9-12 years of age and starts in the fall and ends in December.

Cheerleading

Coinciding with the football rec league, the cheerleading program is also available to children from ages: 6-11 (prior to 8-1-23).

Rec Basketball

Basketball is available in the winter for ages: 5-12. for Co-ed, Girls, and Boys.

Summer camps are also available from the Rabun Recreation Department.
